The Peace Bench
The picnic area at Olde Mølle
The Peace Bench stands on one of Ærø's highest spots in the
middle of the island. It was made by Erik Brandt, sculptor of
Assens, and is a symbol of hope for peace in the world. The bench
has the shape of a bridge and it gives you the opportunity to have
some positive thoughts while you enjoy the wide views over the
island and the sea.
